KANU era politicians and their political heirs bid farewell to former president Daniel Moi’s key ally and KANU political wheeler dealer Mark Too in a unique re-union that revealed the intrigues of Moi’s 24 year rule.
President Uhuru Kenyatta and nearly every politician who spoke credited their meteoric rise in the country’s politics to Mark Too, popularly known as ‘the fixer’ or ‘bwana dawa’.
The burial also saw deputy president William Ruto and his political rival, Baringo senator Gideon Moi clash prompting the intervention of president Kenyatta with a call for unity.
