How do you get comfortable being on camera? How do you deal with anxiety? TAKE COURSES – CREATE COURSES https://www.greatercommons.com/ The fear of public speaking is huge for a lot of people. Fear is an advisor. It’s one voice at the table. You have to listen to all of the voices at the table, and then you have to make a decision. The voice of fear. Listen to it. Then ask, “Is it valid?” A lot of times, fear’s input isn’t valid. A lot of times, fear is about the fear of social rejection. We survived and prospered as a species because we operated collectively. If you were socially rejected back in the day, very often, it probably lead to death. The FIRST THING TO REALIZE is that this is old wiring. Social rejection today does not lead to death usually. When you are socially rejected, you must ask yourself two questions: are they off-base by rejecting me for some bias that person has, or am I being rejected for a valid reason? So listen to the voice of fear, then determine if it is valid. Then proceed forward, despite the fear.
