One of the most common fears is the fear of public speaking. In fact on most top 10 lists, the fear of public speaking is listed ahead of the fear of death.
Three things have helped me immensely in overcoming this fear. First is being prepared. Second is practice. At one time I was a member of Toastmasters. The third and most effective thing I did to overcome my fear was to tap. Tapping is the best technique I know of to overcome strong, anxious emotions.
