Public Speaking Anxiety: How to Be Anxious for Nothing within 30 Days (LM TV Episode 33)

To overcome public speaking anxiety, here are the tips:
1. Conduct a self assessment. What are you battling inside of yourself? Your perception about you. How do you perceive yourself? Do you believe that you are a good speaker? Are you comparing yourself to other speakers? Just compare yourself to the future you and make sure that you set goals for yourself that you wish to attain. You opt to be your own competition and no one else’s.
2. Shutter that perfection complex. Make sure you get rid of the perfection complex by saying yourself that you are not perfect and there is always a room for improvements. Strive to be a better you.
3. Clean the dirty windows. It means that people can clearly see you for who you are. Improve yourself. How do you want to be perceived by others? Do you want to be seen or observed as someone who is transparent? Someone that people can turn to when they are having problems? Are you approachable? Are you the type of speaker that a client can provide the need that a particular group desire?
