Selective Mutism and Social Anxiety (My Story from 10 years of Not Speaking)

Is a Keynote by Next Week Possible? Find Out How.

This is my first public attempt at speaking my personal story on not speaking for 10 years of my childhood. I had selective mutism, a rare extreme anxiety disorder where you feel paralizingly unsafe to speak to peers and other selected people. For me it was at school and with certain family members. I’m 25 now and ready to dive into my past head on to heal the pieces of me that felt shattered and to bring awareness to this rare case of social anxiety. I hope to inform others on selective mutism from a personal perspective and continue to grow in my ability to connect and hold space for others with emotional and mental blocks.

If you have any questions or would like me to speak on certain things for my next video, please email me directly or comment below.
