How to give a compliment? There are two things to keep in mind when giving a compliment: 1) Remember to compliment people, not things, and 2) Do not make them time specific. For example, instead of saying, “Wow, you looked great today,” Saying, “You are beautiful, and today it was apparent to the entire world,” is the kind of compliment that will make someone feel what you’re saying.
