Communication Professor Kathi Paluscio presents—another film!
Over 100 students volunteered to make this pitch to faculty everywhere – Please consider exploring Open Educational Resources to battle the rising costs of college textbooks.
OER materials give students 24 hr access, can often be free or at a reduced cost, appeal to a variety of student learnings styles and study habits. Teachers can also make classes more exciting and engaging by using the multitude of high quality, media materials OER offers.
This film was created in a collaborative effort. Professors from all majors donated tents, The Student Government and students from many other disciplines helped by performing and providing props. The content was entirely drafted by the Honors Public Speaking Course at Mercer County College. The college Library Staff was a crucial player in providing location shots and book props. This was a true community effort, at a community college, and I would like to thank everyone who took time to help the Public Speaking Honors Class promote their message in a fun, but professional way!
