St. Ambrose Academy Summer Academic Skills Workshop Instructor Andy Galvin discusses the section for 6th and 7th grade students which will address academic skills in the context of tree identification and forest ecology. Mr. Galvin has a masters degree in conservation biology and natural resources management, and served 8 years with the endangered resources program at the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.

Academic skills include the critical habits which contribute to student success in an academic environment. The 2015 Summer Academic Skills Workshop will be offered June 22 to July 9, 2015. The Workshop aims to help students hone skills like time-management, determination, resourcefulness, and conscientiousness.
