Is a Keynote by Next Week Possible? Find Out How.

**It’s not what you say, it’s how you say it**

Shortness of breath, a pounding heart, panic—these are the common symptoms of public speaking. If you’re looking for ways to overcome these feelings when it comes to addressing a room full of strangers, our meRIT webinar with Rashad Bayramov ’03 is for you. Rashad has worked with business managers, entrepreneurs, and community leaders to help them master the skills they need to speak confidently in front of an audience in order to convey a clear message and influence thinking.

This webinar will cover key public speaking topics, including:

Stage fright: why we are scared to speak, and how to fight the feeling
Body language: why it is important, how it conveys meaning, and how to best use it
Use of voice: how to use it to draw everyone’s attention and keep the audience engaged
Audience involvement: why people are bored and how to build a dialogue
Storytelling: why stories are important, ‘tell’ vs ‘feel’ approach, and the devil is in the details
