Does speaking in English make you nervous?

Does thinking about talking in front of a lot of people terrify you?

Do you want to improve your fluency and confidence when speaking in English?

Then you need this workshop – the Power of One-Minute Presentations.

In the introduction we will talk about why we’re not using
PowerPoint, Prezi or Keynote.

We’ll talk about kiss – K.I.S.S.

Then we will discuss the Three Golden Rules of Presentations.

After that we will look at the One-Minute Presentation template and how to write a simple, but effective, presentation – how to use your body and your voice in presentations and then we’ll go through writing the script, practising and then finally giving the presentation.

And then there will be what I call “the Inquest”, where we look at how the presentation was different from the script we wrote at the beginning and this is where I’ll show you how important it is to record yourself giving your presentation because you will see how
your script is different from the actual presentation you give, and you will find that often, as you’re speaking, you find a better way to say something and you can use that to improve the script to
improve your presentation going forward.

Thank you for watching this video and I’ll see you at the workshop.
