Table Topics game -
Lets play and talk

The table topics game have several different versions and the one you will find the most useful will depend on your conversational needs.

Original table topics

The first and original game was first launched in 2002. It is suitable for ages 12 and up and is a great way to get into the general table topics for a variety of occasions or uses, and is great as a dinner party gift. Questions include things like:
  • What historic sporting event would you most like to witness?
  • Or, Which is more important, intelligence or common sense?

Family Edition table topics

This version is ideal for families with kids 5+ years. It is great for use around the dinner table and can restart stalled communication. What really helps is that the questions are preprinted on cards, so it is not the parents 'grilling' the children, but more independent curiosity into opinions. It replaces the standard (and dull) 'How as your day?' conversation starter with questions like:
  • Is it more fun to be a parent or child?
  • What family or school rule would you most like to change?
  • What is you favorite family tradition?

Girls Night Out

The Girls Night Out table topics game are suitable for (you guessed it) a those girls nights out. When you want something to break the ice or get to know your girl friends better, this is the set for those 'girls only' evenings. Some questions are 'downers' so a good suggestion from an Amazon reviewer is for everyone to take a few cards and only ask those questions they are comfortable with or want to explore further. Questions include:
  • What is your strangest date ever?
  • What is you most meaningful family heirloom?

Couples table topics

It helps to spill the beans on opinions that might have instigated a disagreement if allowed to surface 'naturally', but the playfully curious nature of the game makes it non-judgmental. It has questions like:
  • Who is the worst backseat driver?
  • How much money do you need to feel secure?
  • What possession of your partner's would you like to throw away?

Spirit

Exploring the more spiritual and metaphysical, this version helps you sink your teeth into reflective topics with questions like:
  • What was the most divine experience you've had?
  • Is it more difficult for you to speak kindly or honestly?
  • Do your dreams sometimes guide you?

Not Your Mom's Dinner Party

There is a dinner party table topics version, but for something more spicy, try the 'Not your mom's dinner party version. It will definitely add flavor and spice to your usual conversations with questions like:
  • What alcohol can you never drink again?
  • Would you rather be addicted to gambling or food?
  • How long can food be on the ground and still be fair game for eating?

More versions of the Table Topics game

Whether you just use one version of the table topics game or whether you have many different versions, it will spur conversation and add flavor to your discussions. Get it today and learn something new about your family and friends.
